Strut the Pup was started in 2009 right here in Seattle with one goal in mind: provide top-quality, reliable and professional pet care services to Western Washington pet owners who consider their pets an important and integral part of their family.
We pride ourselves on developing personal relationships with our clients and their pets. As a client, if you ever have a pet care question or special need, you have someone to call who is always available to try and help.
Did You Know?
- OUR DOG WALKERS and pet sitters are trained in Pet First Aid. Things happen and it is good to know that your dog walker is trained in what to do, when they do.
- WE TAKE PRIDE in our work and commitment. Our dog walkers and pet sitters are actual employees of the company earning a living wage and benefits such as sick leave. Together we are fully committed to you and your pets.
- WE TAKE OUR RESPONSIBILITIES seriously. Not everyone gets to work for Strut The Pup and care for your pets. Those who pass our stringent pre-employment checks and get hired, go through professional training to proudly boast the title of Pack Leader.
Meet Your Pack Leaders!
My name is Einat, and I have the pleasure of leading Strut The Pup.
After a successful career in general management, corporate sales and business development in the metals industry, I decided on a career change that would afford me time to spend with my three children – I transitioned into childcare.
For 5 years I worked at a private school educating, teaching, and most importantly caring for young children while their parents were hard at work.
At that point, I decided to bring that same level of responsibility, caring, and love that we are used to seeing with our children, to your pets.
I also served for two years in the Air Force and got my BA in Business while living in England.
My name is Leah, and I’ve cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, you name it! And I love them all.
I’m really excited to give excellent service to pet-owners and pets, giving them peace of mind knowing their beloved family is in loving hands while they are away.
I currently have a 9-year-old black Lab/Weimaraner mix who pretty much adopted me, not the other way around. He’s incredibly sweet, energetic, and does not act like the senior he is!
My name is Annika. I moved to Seattle from Eastern Washington where I earned a Computer Technician Certificate.
I come from a family who loves dogs and have about a decade (give or take) of experience with taking those precious good boys out on walks in the orchard.
I used to take care of neighbors and friends’ pets while they were away and I once saved a dog’s life by hearing its distress yips far away.
My name is Gina. I absolutely love pets/all animals.
I have two dogs of my own and have watched over many of my friend’s and family’s pets in the past.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a psychology degree.
My name is Dana, and I am an experienced dog owner and service provider.
I spent a career as a legal assistant and admin both here in the US and in England. After providing great care to humans in the office, it was time to put my service skills and caring to my true passion – dogs.
I enjoy every moment with your dogs and getting to spend quality time with them outdoors.
My name is Chuck and I love dogs.
I have had the pleasure of working with and around dogs for the last three years as a handler, dog transport driver, and bather.
Prior to that, I worked in retail for a few years and before that served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years.
After the Navy I studied computer science at Valencia Community College.
My name is Stephanie. I love dogs and great service, and that is what you will get from me.
I currently have three dogs and have been around dogs for as long as I can remember.
I have always worked in service and excelled in making it enjoyable for my customers. I look forward to treating your dogs with the same care I treat my own.
My name is Madisen. I am an experienced dog walker and caretaker, in addition to being a lifelong dog owner.
I have experience working with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments, and love them all! I believe that dogs need tons of love, attention, and social interaction and I am here to be a part of that with them.
Before Strut The Pup I worked as a graphic designer and program manager.
My name is Princess and I think dogs are amazing.
I have had the pleasure of working with many of them as a pet sitter and as a volunteer at an adoption center. At the adoption center I was trained and got to experience work with different types ages and temperaments of dogs. From puppies to seniors, from jumpers to pullers, from the healthy to the sick. These experiences have provided me with the tools to care for your dog.
I studied CIS Web App Development at Edmonds College.
My name is Jason and I help make sure that all our wonderful customers get scheduled with our amazing Pack Leaders.
I myself am a dog lover and have a 15 year old Pitbull of my own. Now I get to combine my love for animals and experience in dispatching.
Before joining Strut The Pup, I dispatched a large fleet of taxis at Union Cab, and brought these skills to further use at Yellow Cab in Everett. My customer service experience varies from technical support positions, to telemarketing.
My name is Mariela and I have 20 years experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have owned dogs in the past and worked as a dog walker.
Outside of caring for your pets, I also work as a brand ambassador and promotor of outdoor events.
I earned my bachelors degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
My name is Megan and I love animals and being outdoors! I’ve had dogs pretty much my whole life (and cats!) and now I can combined my two passions.
Before joining Strut The Pup, I provided Foster Home services for Bannock County Humane Society in Idaho. I provided a stable and loving home for dogs awaiting adoptive owners. This was a rewarding time and included everything from communications between potential clients and the Humane Society management; arranging veterinary appointments; and providing after-care for foster dogs. Throughout, I ensured foster dogs were well socialized through interactions with other dogs, people and animals.
My name is Shane and I love dogs.
In fact I have been walking and caring for dogs as a professional for 8 years as well as personally fostering dogs for the past 10 years.
Before getting into the ‘Dog Business’, I worked in services including as an Interpretive Specialist at the Makah Museum in Neah Bay, WA.
My name is Gabby and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with dogs since I’ve had at least one throughout my whole life. I have always enjoyed walking and caring for dogs and spending time with them outdoors.
Prior to Strut The Pup, I had the privilege of working for the Seattle Storm and Seattle Seawolves as a marketing operations production manager.
I have an AA in Criminal Justice with a Child Advocacy Certificate from Shoreline Community College.
My name is Cole and I have loved dogs my entire life.
Throughout my childhood, I grew up with a golden retriever and have been around dogs for both my childhood and adult years.
In addition to dogs, I love music and have worked around music prior to Strut The Pup including Happy Minds School of Music in Bellevue, Respect My Region in Seattle, and OMG Global in Los Angeles.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Cornish College of the Arts
My name is Lydia and I have owned and been around dogs all my life including my current pup, a lively 8 year old blue heeler.
Prior to becoming a professional dog walker, I spent five year working at the Multnomah County Library in Portland, OR.
I have a Certificate in Library and Media Assisting from Portland Community College
